Last term Stacie H (Year 10) held a cooking class with some Year 6 students. Her goal for EIF (Exploring Identities and Futures) was to teach a lesson to younger students. She planned to teach them how to make scones in order to develop her skills in teaching children as this is something she wants to do in her future career.
Stacey organised the whole incursion including excursion paperwork, planning ingredients, negotiating with primary teachers and refining and adjusting plans as things went along.
This subject has allowed Stacey to choose her own learning goal and set about planning and organising an action to develop her learning and reflect upon this as she went.
Well done to Stacey on a successful EIF Action!
